On Location can be anywhere - on some boring holiday in the Maldives when you turn 40, a news reporter on a TV screen reporting from 3 blocks away from your home, the pointless and ubiquitous celebrity we simultaneously obsess over, deplore and rapidly forget about, a place in your head where you think wrong or right things about everything and everyone, reading a blogger's review of something they don't own and are giving away for free, staring at an endless stream of meaningless art in a gallery or on the internet, staring at a bin overflowing with refuse on the street, it is anywhere there is a camera (in 2012, that means virtually everywhere), it is what you are like away from the cameras too and it is about the terminal boredom that we are incessantly funneled into by a constant and careless overload. This is all about your supposed culture of trash and finding beauty or commentary within that as a concept - it is bullshit and it's just trash.
